This is a 1:18 scale model of a 1973 Audi 100 Coupé S in copper, manufactured by Best of Sale (BoS) the product is made of resin and comes sealed in its original packaging and is encased in polystyrene for maximum protection.

An exquisite piece of motoring memorabilia and a great addition to a collector’s display cabinet, that would make an excellent gift for a relative or loved one.

Manufactured by the German automaker Audi AG. The car was first presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1969. The car itself originally having only just over 30,000 units produced.

The car was designed by Ruprecht Neuner an unfamiliar name but one that has set high standards for Audi’s design team since the release of the 100 Coupé S in 1969.

In 1973 Audi tag-teamed with Porsche to develop two prototypes based on the Audi 100 Coupé S. The first one named “V3” was equipped with a 928 prototype V8 engine with a power of 350hp as well as the 928’s rear wheel drive running gear.

The “V4” was much different in appearance as the body was slightly widened by 4.3 inches to accommodate the 928’s running gear and wide track.

Manufacturing of the Audi 100 Coupé S halted in 1976 to make way for Audi’s future projects, sadly the name Ruprecht Neuner did not show up in any of Audi’s further projects as very little information is known about him.
