Lewis Hamilton has publicly announced on twitter that he will be auctioning a pair of shoes that he has worn. Despite not being the first Formula One star to do this it is widely appreciated by the public, however met with the same amount of mixed emotions as you would expect. 
Lewis Hamitlon is a memorable name in recent Formula One history, so it is no surprise he is partaking in public events such as this. 
Hamilton announced on social media today that he will be auctioning a pair of PUMA shoes that he has worn and signed on a platform that goes by the name of "Small Steps Project" 
These shoes were worn during his 2015 season of Formula 1 where Leiws Hamilton will be racing representing Mercedes. 
When clicking the "bid on this item" button on Small Steps Project's website it will forward you to an eBay link where the current maximum bid for these shoes is an eyewatering £1,320 with a total of 66 bids.
